Lisa Burton secures release on licence for elderly life sentenced client

Lisa represented an elderly life sentenced prisoner who had complex resettlement needs that required a multi-agency approach.

Lisa was instrumental in ensuring the local authority accepted their duty of care for the client which allowed the probation service to present a robust release plan to the Parole Board.

The Parole Board subsequently directed the client's release on licence.
